About Basílica de la Sagrada Família

A UNESCO World Heritage marvel under construction since 1882. Its towering organic facades and stained-glass forest interior create an awe-inspiring sensory experience.

Conceived by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí, the Sagrada Família merges Catalan Modernisme, Art Nouveau, and Gothic revival into an organic cathedral inspired by trees, turtles, and celestial geometry. Gaudí dedicated the final 43 years of his life exclusively to this basilica, knowing he would never see it finished. Inside, towering stone columns branch like trees into leafy vaults 45 metres high, filtered by vibrant stained-glass windows that flood the nave with amber, cobalt, and emerald morning light.
