1. How We Handle Reader Reports

  1. Receipt & Triage (Within 24 Hours): Every correction report received through our contact desk is logged with timestamp, destination URL, and reporting traveler details.
  2. Primary Source Investigation: Our editorial research team attempts to verify the discrepancy directly with official authorities, municipal transit bodies, or local partners.
  3. Content Rectification: If verified, the article is updated immediately and an editor note is appended if the correction involves safety, entry visas, or critical logistical parameters.

2. Material vs. Minor Corrections

Material Factual Corrections

Errors altering travel logistics (e.g. invalid visa duration, wrong currency exchange rate, closed national parks, critical health warnings).

Action: Immediate correction + Timestamped revision note.

Minor Typographical Fixes

Spelling errors, punctuation adjustments, formatting styling, or minor syntax enhancements that do not alter factual meaning.

Action: Corrected silently without cluttering reader notes.
